It follows his life in the colonies, where he was abducted by Native Americans, and then went to war against the French. He was exchanged as a prisoner of war and returned to Britain, where he embarked on a long legal battle against the Aberdeen businessmen behind the slave trade. along the way, he became a bar owner, publisher and writer. It is a tale of high adventure, enterprise and legal skullduggery.
