Manly men doing manly things. It's a whole genre unto itself. This is the 9th book of the Jack Reacher series (currently there are 14 of them). And Jack Reacher is the manliest of men. He's reasonably good-looking, six-foot-six, about 250 pounds of muscles and many scars. He's an ex-Army MP living a rootless existence and finding trouble wherever he goes. When a sniper kills six people in a plaza in Indiana, the sniper is quickly found and says “Get Jack Reacher for me.” Naturally, all is not as it seems. The pages flew in this book. I knocked it off in under a week (which is fast for me). This is only the 2nd Jack Reacher book I've read but probably not the last.
