A WWI Scottish spy-thriller.

I would have given this five stars except that the character introductions were a bit confusing at times, and there were no breaks between changes of scene, so sometimes it was difficult to keep up with the swift changes of action.

I enjoyed the adventures of Andrew and his spunky American pal, Whitney. The pace of the story moves very quickly (sometimes almost too much so) from one thrilling moment to another. Lives are in danger and spies are lurking to blow up unsuspecting merchant ships. Andrew, always devoted to his country even though he cannot fight for it, is determined to stop them. An excellent mystery-adventure-thriller.
