To be honest, it took me a while to warm up to Lauren, she just comes across as such a selfish brat at the beginning of the story. But I truly appreciated not only seeing her grow into her role as a teacher (teachers rock!), but especially how she grew to care - and fight! - for “her” Misfits.
I'm looking forward to reading more books in this world, both in this series as well as the Misfits YA series.
