Reread December 2023
I can definitely see why I only gave this four stars the first time around - though this time it would be more of a five star read for me - because I am not the biggest fan of spending time at the Academy. However, the Chronome fight was all kinds of awesome, so I will forgive it for that.

I like that the two volumes here are pretty self contained and tell the story of the attack on the Academy in its entirety. Less likable for me is how much screen time is devoted to a couple of ‘villains' that I don't like. (I don't read the manga for the villains.) Though there were some nice moments for some of my personal favorites.
