The following are the compiled reviews for each book in the set. Overall, this was a highly enjoyable light hearted romance series that happens to be set in a high school and feature high school aged characters - meaning that while it is YA, you don't necessarily need to enjoy YA generally to enjoy this trilogy specifically.
The Perfect Catch:
“Surrounded by balls, can she find love? This is a very fun, very light, very breezy read about two friends who happen to be excellent at their chosen sports – softball and baseball – coming together after one of them tries to drive the other away. Excellent book, and I can't wait to see more in this series.”
The Perfect Match:
“GOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL! This second entry into Dallen's Kissing the Enemy series is just as fun and lighthearted as the first, with just enough drama to keep things interesting. Though it is possible that there is even less sport in this book (in this case, soccer) than there was in the first book in the series, as Dallen keeps the focus on the romance side of things. Which is fine, for a romance book. I was just kinda interested in the sports too. (Hey, I'm a guy :D) Excellent story, easy read. Very much recommended.”
The Perfect Score:
“Great Ending. In the conclusion to this trilogy, we finally get the story of the most outspoken girl of the group paired with... the most silent guy of the group. As was the case throughout this series, some great laughs, some biting heartache, some miscommunications common around the HS age, and very little actual sports play. (Indeed, there is no scoring of any kind specifically mentioned – much less shown – in this particular tale.) Very fun and fast read, highly recommended.”
