one of those clean cut, family friendly, summer romps (with the dog and the children under 12 and the hijinx!) all ends well of course. no cellphones, only one ‘work' computer, no internet (plausible for a summer vacation??) single kindly,wise dad + dead mum. good for middle readers. ppl who like the way things used to be.
