If the book didn't sound like the same tired plot line used on millions of sitcoms, the photo of the author on the sleeve purposely posed to show off her honkin' big diamond ring was the nail in the coffin for this book. I kept thinking that all of the shallow characters would have some sort of epiphany but with mere pages left I finally had to close the book in agony.
