Like Mothman to a Flame

What happens when you mix a woman with the uncanny trait of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, a man who is descended from the original Mothman, and a plot to take over one rural West Virginia mountain town?

Blaze Roberts is a 28yr old native of small-town Appalachia at its finest. She left Briar Creek over twelve years ago, running away from a difficult past and uncaring parents to live in the big city. When the family home burns to the ground, she's called back to deal with the rubble. Blaze is determined to get shit done and get outta Dodge as fast as possible.

Clay Thomas is a long-time bachelor who has no desire to repeat his father's history with women. He's busy enough pulling days at the library and nights on the trails. But when a whirlwind of a girl comes barreling into his job, looking every inch her fiery namesake, he can't help but be drawn to the wild and free firebrand. Even if he doesn't understand why.

Blaze doesn't do tied-down and she certainly doesn't do small-town life. Not anymore. But her growing attraction to Clay makes her wonder if she really meant it when she said she wouldn't stay.

And when even more wildfires catch in the area, will Clay will be forced to decide between his secret and her life?
