I wanted to love this one more than I did and the blame for that lies solidly at the feet of the heroine. I HATED this heroine so frigging much. She was stupid. She was a major bitch. She kept running off into the jungle like a f-ing idiot. If I had been Lock, I would have left her bitchy ungrateful ass stranded out there so a tiger would eat her and put us all out of our misery. I seriously could not stand her AT ALL.


 

Apart from the aforementioned heroine hate, the book was a really great read. The writing was good. It was well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. The sex scenes were hot. There wasn't any angst or OW/OM drama. Since they are stranded on an Island there really wasn't many secondary characters. But the couple from CAGED make a quick appearance. I loved Lock. He was hot. He was alpha. He was hung like a horse. He deserved someone WAY better than Jules that is for sure. Last, it was all wrapped up in a perfect ending that will make most readers thrilled. I myself wished Jules would have met an untimely death by getting eaten by a python or something and Lock moved on to someone who could ACTUALLY teach him to be a better person but what can you do? lol In any case, this one gets a solid thumbs up from yours truly.
