Such a delightful story...I had the pleasure of beta reading. Thanks, Victoria!!

So, for the review...this is a fun debut novel. It's a mystery, suitable for YA but enjoyable to adults as well. Olivia and Cyril must find out who's targeting them after their parents die in a carriage crash, and it doesn't help that they've shut each other out in their grief and aren't spending lots of time talking to each other. Cyril is busy with his detective career, and Olivia is trying to adjust to life in London after growing up on the family's country estate.

My absolute favorite, though, is Dudley. This good doctor is the voice of wit, reason, and kindness to both of his friends, and he's the one both Cyril and Olivia rely on while working through their grief. I'd like a prop like him if I was grieving!

I also loved Mrs. Hobbs and am looking forward to the possibility that she'll get her own story in the near future!
