Great book about an interesting incident that happened during WWII.
I started Lost in Shangri-La and finished Lost in Shangri-La in one short afternoon. I was completely unfamiliar with the story before I read the book, so I was hooked into trying to figure out who would live and who would die as well as seeing what permanent changes the experience would make on the characters.
This was a light read, very close to a novel in feel, with conversations and details that sent me as a reader right into the heart of the story. The characters were engaging and the setting was frightening. What reader would not enjoy reading this book?
