Lunar love is a match-making family business that matches couples based on the Chinese zodiac. Olivia takes over the business from her grandmother and learns shortly after that there is a new competitor on the market - a dating app that takes a flexible approach on the same zodiac system.

I thought the MMC was nice but the FMC was quite annoying. I really don't like when she lies to him and tries to get to know him with malicious intentions. Luckily there is quite a bit of growth in the character throughout the book and by the end, I didn't dislike her anymore.

Lunar Love is a solid debut novel and I wholeheartedly recommend it if you're looking for a modern rom-com with a dash of Chinese culture. The writing style is well to my liking, the characters are memorable and the banter is such a delight! The cultural aspects and Chinese zodiac were my favorite things in the book, and I wish they would have been explored more.
