Mayhem in Maryland

I only read the first story in this collection, because it was a bit gossipy for my taste. But I was impressed by the dynamic between the lead character and her stepdaughter. The tension was beautiful and very well written. And the mystery was intriguing too. I am sure the other two stories in this collection would follow suit.
