An accessible guide about car ownership that was more focused on the day-to-day realities of budgeting, purchasing, insuring, building a working relationship with a trustworthy mechanic, etc. than the DIY maintenance side of things. That’s exactly why I was drawn to it! On each point she provided the readers with pros and cons (in layman's terms) so we can make our own informed choices, which I appreciated.

I didn’t know a lot about cars going in, but had no problem understanding anything, so I'd say it did its job of being a good introductory guide.
