This was a pretty cute story with just enough conflict to be interesting, and a HEA ending (apparently making way for a sequel, but doesn't feel open-ended). I didn't really care for either of the main characters, though, and felt that they were both a bit one-dimensional.

My main issues with the book are in the writing and editing. The POV constantly switches back and forth between the leads within chapters with little more than an extra space between paragraphs to let you know who's head you're in. It only got confusing a few times where I had to re-read parts to make sure I know who was speaking but it's just bad writing.
The characters, besides maybe Jordan's grandmother, were all boring and we never really get to know any of them enough, even the main leads. Rhett/Rex gave me very little to like, and was seemingly always in control of the action, while Jordan was a total wet towel (until Rex needed a tiny bit of comforting and then he was suddenly an alpha type???).
This is an enemies-to-lovers sort of tale, mostly because Rex is a total dick, but it ends with this grand declaration of love between them that I felt came sort of out of left field. They should have just remained friends and could maybe become more of an item after actually getting to know each other.

Overall, only recommended if you need a quick read with a HEA but otherwise, it's very meh.
