Midnight Duet

3.5 stars. Please don't stone me, but I can't stand Andrew Lloyd Webber, and I've never seen Phantom of the Opera. But this gender-switched take on the story mostly worked for me anyway with its mix of OTT drama, humor, and found family. I wouldn't mind a sequel that focuses on the band's emo/goth bassist Sibylle.
