Mistborn Trilogy

I feel like if I had had read this in high school I would have loved it, but I guess I just read too much similar stuff. I did appreciate the unique world-building and magic system. However, I almost put the book down a couple of times because of the frustrating way that information was dumped on the reader. I also felt the characterization was a little too blunt and heavy-handed.
