Tried to give Kyle a second chance, but alas I cannot give him more than 3 stars. His quitter attitude and not wanting to study because basically he felt like he shouldn't really have to compete again was disappointing.

However, the banned books theme was a great way to explain censorship to kids. While I think that this book would appeal to younger kids than middle school I felt like in the end, Kyle and his friends came through. I wouldn't say that I liked this more or less than the last book because like the first, there's not really much in the way of character development because we jump right into the competition, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
