I listened to this as an audiobook and it was much fun. The narrator was wonderful with all his different voices and there was so much dialogue I felt I could easily tell who was who.

Another point in the “I should read more Viet authors” column. I enjoyed everything about this. The slow burn, the uncertainty of what exactly was happening, the relationships between Jade and her family members. The only thing that kept from being 5 stars was Florence. She never grew on me. The Ghost Bride bonus chapter was probably my favorite part of the book.

The creepy bits while they were in Italy were creepy, but I hated everyone in this book. I stuck around just to see if everyone died.

Some of these stories were so much I felt like I was going to throw up from stress. The scariest things are not the mythical creatures, but the real ones walking on two feet.

This is not the romance I usually gravitate towards. The dialogue was something to behold.
