The creepy bits while they were in Italy were creepy, but I hated everyone in this book. I stuck around just to see if everyone died.

Another point in the “I should read more Viet authors” column. I enjoyed everything about this. The slow burn, the uncertainty of what exactly was happening, the relationships between Jade and her family members. The only thing that kept from being 5 stars was Florence. She never grew on me. The Ghost Bride bonus chapter was probably my favorite part of the book.

This is not the romance I usually gravitate towards. The dialogue was something to behold.

I loved this so much! I so enjoyed this little world that Lee Miye created. It was so rich and imaginative. I'm excited for the next book to be translated!

I was irritated at first with Kate not doing anything about the video. There's no way the police would leave it up because it was evidence! And the idiocy of her assistant/friend posting the whole thing without watching it was nuts too! But after all that I liked everything else!
