This was an incredibly well written short story. This is the first story that David Scott has put out and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is that this should have been much longer.
The main character is an elderly man on death row who is suffering from dementia. He tells his story of growing up in a some what broken home and his unhealthy obsession with a man named Easton. We can see that Easton is CLEARLY using the main character, but he is too blind to even notice.
I didn't want to feel sympathy for him. He made his own decisions, however it was clear that Easton took advantage of this mans “love” for him.
