Nakano Takeko: The Last of the Samurai

I stumbled across this book on Kindle and downloaded it pretty quickly. My husband loves Samurai culture, so we read the book aloud together and really enjoyed it. It's fun to read aloud and full of history. The illustrations are beautiful, too. This book made us both want to learn more about Nakano Takeko.

It would be a great addition to a classroom or children's library!
