I liked the idea of a kidnapping victim reuniting with her rescuer years later but I was a little put off by Will/Ethan's actions in the beginning. He even admits himself that his behavior is that of an obsessed stalker. I also didn't find it believable that Katie didn't recognize him, especially after seeing his tattoo.

I also didn't like the arrangement of the chapters in this book. It goes back and forth between Katie's past and present and also Will/Ethan's past and present. The past chapters are not in order so it was a bit hard to follow at times. Other than that, it was a good read and I'll probably read the second book when it's released to see what happens with Katie and Ethan's story.
