Night of the Pumpkin God

This one was a solid 4 stars until the last 25% of the book. The back story that was tacked on at the end felt pointless since the conclusion was already a foregone thing and the story that was being told wasn't that interesting either.

The fat talk was pretty cringy, Misty thinks of her fat, Tully who hates Misty thinks of her fat, Josie who is supposed to be a friend of Misty also thinks and talks about Misty's fat, we get it Misty is fat and everyone hates fatties even people who are supposed to be their friends. TBH the last one is really where it got cringe because it felt entirely uncalled for.
