Not Your Sidekick

Definitely love the characters - Jess, Abby and Bells specifically - but the world building was pretty cool. I though it'd be a contemporary superhero story, and instead it's distant future after WWIII, so that was kind of different. A fairly light read, lots of fun and all that. (The romance was super cute, though, and while I'm not the biggest fan of secret identities, I thought it worked really well here. Of course, it's all totally obvious, but it still worked well.) Also, not to long ago I bragged about a book that was the first time I had read a character asking another ‘what are your pronouns'. Well, I have another to add to that list with this book!
