The novel addresses one of the roots of the debates all around the world, Euthanasia (mercy killing). Moreover, it tackles discrimination in gender and color. And lastly, it reminds the readers the value of the Hippocratic Oath.

It is very rare to come across a book so well-written being a medical thriller. One hell of a page turner by Sidney Sheldon with an extraordinary plot twist and the absolutely perfect ending.
