What would you do if someone tried to hurt your son?
That's what Dani Harding has to figure out in Lynette Eason's novel, Nowhere to Turn. Dani's lived in fear the last twelve years, but her future will make that terror feel like happiness. When her deaf son's life comes into danger, she seeks help in a unique program called Operation Refuge. Going into hiding under the care of one of the Operation's agents, Dani hopes the attempts on her son's and her life will stop. But the journey to freedom has only begun. Will she ever be rid of those who've held her captive for over a decade? Will she learn to trust God with the safety of her most precious treasure—her son?
Another successful suspense novel from Lynette Eason, Nowhere to Turn kept me guessing until the very end. It's the second installment of the Hidden Identity series, but it can stand on its own as well. The twists and turns came at great moments, right when I thought I knew what was coming. Boy, was I wrong! I like the way Ms. Eason crafts her stories, weaving everything together in a way that always makes me keep flipping the pages late into the night. If you like sleep over reading, this isn't the book for you. But if you enjoy a great suspense story ... well, grab a copy and welcome to the fan club!
