Short Review: This is better than the last several books. The series was dragging and I think this one picked the main story line back up again. Darcy and Georgie (spoiler) don't get married. But the marriage is imminent. Georgie (and Belinda and Queenie) are all less annoying in this book. Georgie stands up for herself a number of times (although frequently comments to herself about how surprised she is that she is standing up for herself.)

The actual history this is based on has a role her too. The Crown Prince is meeting Nazis and his eventual marriage to Mrs Simpson is getting closer.

I enjoy the series. A light cozy mystery is great as a change of pace from heavier history or theology.
