Tarantino does this weird thing where, instead of referring to characters by their name to mark who is saying a dialogue piece (for example, “xxx said”), he instead uses strange synonyms that differ every sentence, making it harder to follow.

Overall an engaging book, but I cringed every time he mentioned large and dirty feet or sexualised young girls.
