Well, this turned out to be better than I was anticipating. Especially considering how much I LOATHE the whole older woman - younger man” trope. Thankfully Jamison was only two years younger than Elodie, and the age difference wasn't harped upon. In fact, this was heading towards being a 4-Star book until Elodie made a decision SO beyond stupid and entirely absurd which then made her look like a complete doormat, and quite frankly at the point I thought Jamison should have cut his losses and moved the hell on. Since that isn't what happened, he apparently could get past her pathetically weak behavior, but I could not. Hence why I am only giving it 3-Stars. C'est la vie...
