When the Grand Council Emissary officially sanctions the Montague and Strong Detective Agency, with Monty and Simon officially declared magus non grata—rogue mages, their world is shattered, figuratively and literally.

Haven, The NYTF, the Dark Council, all of the mage sects and neutral locations worldwide have been instructed to treat them as outcasts.
Anyone assisting them in any way will suffer the most extreme of consequences—erasure and death.

Now, with the help of the Ten, Monty and Simon must confront the Emissary of the Grand Council and his schemes.
