A fairly extensive peek into the components required to achieve top athletic performance. It wasn't a a light read by any means, but it definitely made me appreciate the complex machine of the human body a little bit more.
The audience seemed to be people who either took better than advanced high school biology or who maybe remember it better than I do. A good read for those most closely involved in coaching athletes or the serious recreational athlete, but not a how-to guide as such.
