Poppy & Ereth

This is the second time Avi has offed his character out of the blue. First, it was Ragweed, and now Rye. It seems for no other reason than to advance the plot or get them out of the way. Besides that, like the previous books, I did enjoy the story. Poppy, now a grandmother, was still Poppy, and Ereth, well, still annoying at times. It's not the end of the series, but it is the end of the Dimwood Forest adventures for me.
