Bad idea to try to get rid a reading slump with a book by a person that authored another book you absolutely hated.

The writing was unremarkable, the plot was full of plot-holes and overall quite boring. It lacked almost any kind suspense and I could not care less about the characters or their relationships and their feelings. The biggest con of them all: barely any zombies.
