Red Queen

First off, how awesome is that cover. I liked this book. Its hard to describe without giving away parts of the book. I think you'll understand when you read it. Anyways. I should have learned my lesson by now, NEVER read reviews before or while I am reading a book, because I was able to guess the big plot twist. It was like when I had a friend read [b:Ender's Game 375802 Ender's Game (The Ender Quintet, #1) Orson Scott Card https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1408303130s/375802.jpg 2422333] and he said he could guess that the “game” at the end was real because everyone and their mom gushed about how amazing the ending was. Back to Red Queen, Mare Barrow. I hated her name, I wanted to call her bone marrow every time they said her first and last name. She was annoying, and so gullible. I felt like Cal's character didn't know what he wanted to do. Like he started out being a good guy, but then he decided screw being the good guy? But then he was like, I am the good guy. I am not sure. He was confusing. I see this series has 4 books scheduled, not sure if it will hold my attention for that long, but I will definitely be reading the next book.
