Red Right Hand

I really did try here, I swear.

I will say that the reading goes fast and the description is very vivid.

My problems was that there was nothing interesting me. 37% in and the only goal I know of is ‘Get through the night'. Like the main character, I want to know why. Unfortunately, I got frustrated and didn't care to actually know.
Also, ‘red right hand' is said omg so many times. I got it. Saying red hand only would be fine or right hand. After the first few times, I got it.
In honesty though, the main character's frustration and dejection really got to me. I definitely was connecting with her... it just didn't work out here.

Recommend... nope.
