This is another book where I felt like I was reading about completely different characters than in the previous books. When you have different authors writing different books in the same series it is difficult to keep each character's character the same throughout the series. The main characters Annie, Alice and Ian all seemed out of character to me. Annie starts calling Boots “Bootsy” in the last book? She also went on an odd hormone trip or forgot to take her medication. She was so different it was too much. Also, it was odd that Ian seemed to know that something was off about Annie but he didn't seemed to care enough or as much as he did in previous books. The Ian from previous books would not have been so dumb as to not see that Annie was jealous of his old gal pal that looked like a movie star. He also would not have spent every waking minute with this other woman and not call or visit the woman he wanted to get into a deeper relationship with. The book was also way too dramatized throughout. I was hoping for something a little more real world I guess. I am definitely disappointed in this as the last book as the series.
