Sacrificial Magic

A storage building is set on fire in Bump's territory. The body found in the aftermath was used in sacrificial magic. So, of course Bump calls in his Churchwitch. Chess also gets assigned a case for her actual job, The Church. The previous debunker apparently went kind of crazy and quit. It's at a school in Slobag's area. Right from the start, Chess knows this is a very dangerous case, and it looks like there are lots of people to fear on this one. This book just about killed me! People said to prepare for the pain and they were right! I listened to some of this, and read some. As always, Bahni Turpin is amazing. Also, to Stacia Kane, this series is fabulous, I'm almost caught up, so please hurry!
