I enjoyed the book but I preferred the previous two in the series. I couldn't connect with Dahlia or Felix as much as I could with Daisy, Vi, Jordan, or Gavin. By the end of the book, it felt like I didn't really know either Dahlia or Felix, they're still basically strangers, and their struggles barely registered for me, I didn't really care all that much. I feel like I got to know Dahlia more in Daisy's book than her own, which sucks.
I loved the way she told Bethany to piss off though, that was fun.
Fake dating is one of my favourite tropes, but with the second-hand embarrassment I got in the first 40% of the book, I couldn't enjoy it as much.
It was a good, but not great continuation of the series. I don't hate it, it was just very average for me. 3/5
