Searching for Dragons

Cimorene's adventures continue in this delightful second volume of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. This time she teams up with the King of the Enchanted Forest, Mendanbar, and a whole new cast of wonderful characters and a few old ones to stop some meddling wizards bent on mischief towards the dragons and the Enchanted Forest itself. Fast paced, funny, magical and all around fun I enjoyed every minute of this book. Patricia C. Wrede continues to take tropes and turn them on their head, but in a way that feels so natural and not preachy. Highly, highly recommended read for the young and the young at heart who still enjoy fairytales and fantasy.
