3 estrelas e meia. Foi a primeira vez que li um escritor português a desenvolver uma narrativa idêntica aos thrillers nórdicos que estou habituada. Gostei desta obra, sobretudo da primeira parte mais macabra e dos capítulos dedicados ao serial killer Lúcio. Na segunda parte da obra podemos contar com uma vertente mais cientifica com uma explicação extensa sobre o Segredo Mortal. No geral, o enredo torna-se óbvio em algumas partes e os diálogos das personagens deixam a desejar.
