Shadow and Bone

Love this one! Alina is a strong MC and reading her journey had me rooting alongside her. This is the first book I've read by this author and she is fast becoming a favorite. It is an easy read and well written with characters that make you want to keep reading. Jam packed full of war, treachery, the power hungry vs. the peaceful, and true friendship. I am looking forward to the next one in this series.
