Shadows of the Forest

2.5. I received this book for an honest review. I think this book had a lot of potential in the plot, but it moved far too slow and repeated itself over and over. I found it hard to motivate myself to continue reading this book. I also found the writing to seem like it was striving to be adult, but fell just short and ended up seeming annoying. I am not trying to tear apart this book by saying this, these are just my honest thoughts.

I tried... but I just couldn't get into it. It felt like it was dragging while going too fast at the same time and I was confused about events that didn't seem to make sense to me.
Sucks, because I love folklore, especially Japanese folklore!! Ugh, can't believe I'm giving up on a story with a Kitsune in it.
