I love a story that takes a fairytale and makes it more. Some try to take the magic out of it. This one did not. She left it in there and made it a star. It is a lovely little story about two of my favorite fairytale characters. All of the important parts are there, witch, poisoned apple, hearts, etc., but with a new spin on it.
There was a part at the end that didn't seem to make sense with the beginning. That bothered me a little. Overall, very enjoyable quick read.
