When Megan's boyfriend breaks up with her for another woman, she decides to go alone to the secluded cottage in Scotland that she'd booked as a romantic setting for their Christmas together. After spending a miserable few days alone, a knock comes at the door: Jamie, caught in a snowstorm and unable to get into the cottage he's rented nearby, is looking for help.
