Soul Searchers

If this story hadn't been written by Boote I probably wouldn't have been super keen to pick it up because I'm not a fan of haunted house stories, I've read too many of them that felt like the exact same with the same cookie cutter characters. Boote managed to make it feel fresh and engaging all the way through with characters that felt like real people with all the irrationalities of being human and flawed.

Just a heads-up, if abortion is a sensitive topic for you, I'd recommend you approach with care.
