Me: I don't like angsty romance novels

One day later: gives this book 5 stars. Consistency is not my friend apparently.

But LISTEN I think what really made this one better was that there was no back and forth in the relationship, it was relatively linear. There was no “let's get together we are soulmates” and then “oh no I'm going to push you away for years.”

This was really good, and the emotional aspect really worked for me. On my way to read her backlist now BRB
