Spare Change

Spare Change is full of quirky southern characters that had me laughing and wishing I lived in a place like Wyattsville. Back then, neighbors weren't just passerbys but family. I love small town settings in books so this was huge plus for me.

Ethan Allen is something else and my heart felt for him. No child should go through what he did. Olivia was his perfect counterpart and together their relationship and interactions made this wholly enjoyable.

Even during the slower portions, it was still a thoughtful and heart-tugging journey. By the end of this one I was bawling so hard I couldn't see. I'm a Momma and now a Nana of 5, so if you have read this...then you know.
