Spider's Bite

Gin is an assassin. Her family was killed by a fire elemental when she was thirteen, and that was the life she chose to survive. When a job comes to her that pays more than enough to retire, she decides to take it, as her last job. When she realizes she's been double crossed, she vows to get to the bottom of it, even if it means working with possibly the only clean detective in the city. This is yet another that's been on my TBR pile for a long time. I loved it and have already bought the next 5!
