Anya got into the elite school, but now... she needs to become an elite student even among the handpicked kids, so her family can be invited to an exclusive club to get close to the target.
Except... she isn't that good of a student. Whoops?
Another way would be to become friends with the target's son, which... again, Anya is not that good socially.
Meanwhile, Yor's little brother shows up and like everyone else, he has his dangerous secrets.
This is getting even better now! New characters are introduced at a good pace, without being overwhelming, like Yuri, Yor's overzealous, protective younger brother or the fellow kids at Anya's school.
The fact everyone is playing a role is handled brilliantly; Anya can read minds, so she knows almost everything, but her limited understanding because of her child mind only makes things messier and more hilarious. The reader is the only one who knows AND understands the implications. I had to stop multiple times to have a laugh.
I'm happy with the backgrounds being a bit more defined and filled in; the flat is getting more features and objects, the school is looking fantastic. Crowds are looking better as well.
The extra features and “missions” at the end are also good. I like seeing the design processes and such. For a male author, the magaka is doing an exceptional job at making Anya and Yor look cute and pretty, respectively. Designing their clothes must have been a good time, they turned out lovely.
Again, heavily recommended for anyone who would like a heartwarming, hilarious story about people bonding and making an unconventional situation work.
